John is a photographer of long standing, a discerning Black Country photographer who sees digital imaging as a tool rather than a box of tricks.

A photographer whose images are linked by a natural instinct for subject arrangement and attention to detail.

 

John describes this approach to photography as spontaneous - seeking to recapture for the viewer the same mood and atmosphere which drew him to the subject in the first place.

 

In August 2008 John was awarded his second British Photographic Exhibition (BPE) Crown Award, having gained more than fifty acceptances in UK National Exhibitions.

 

John also enjoys repeated success in many of the International exhibitions that are staged around the world and is currently working towards an International Federation of Photographic Art distinction (AFIAP).
